Dr. Marc Nicholson
President- Class of 94'
As a proud graduate of STM, I feel it's important to make an effort to give back to St Malachy's. I, myself, benefited from prizes and scholarships supported by the Alumni and I'm now happy to be in a position to contribute not just financially,
but also with my time through involvement with the Alumni Association board. After moving home to Saint John 3 years ago, I felt it was important to be
involved in the community and could think of no better starting point.

Being involved with the Alumni allows me to remain connected to the school and it also provides the opportunity to actively support the St. Malachy's community.
My experience as a student of St. Malachy's High School was very positive and has helped shaped who I am today. Continuing to be a part of the St. Malachy's
community is important to me and enables me to give back to the school and, most
importantly, the students.

I have chosen to be involved in the alumni association because Saint Malachy's is a tradition in my family, and it is something that I hold much more dear than
"just a school." The life lessons I learned at Saint Malachy's and the friendships I made while attending the school have been invaluable in my life. I met my husband at Saint Malachy's, and I look forward to the day that our
children also choose to be Saints!

It's always nice to be able to give something back at a local level. Saint Malachy's was an important part of my life growing up and helping to make it
even better for the current and future students is a privilege.

Serves the Alumni out of a sense of duty to my graduating class, but I found connecting with other past graduates and helping future STM grads
surprizingly fulfilling. I had forgotten what a positive connection to my past my years at STM were and working with others to preserve those memories and create new ones are why I remain on the Alumni board. I would encourage others to become involved in whatever way they can.

St. Malachy's has been a very important part of my life since I enetered the school as a grade ten student in 1955. I received an excellent education from
dedicated teachers and tried to follow in those footsteps when I taught at St. Malachy's. As an alumnus I feel it is important to
contribute to the school so that excellence in education may continue.

As a graduate of St Malachy's Memorial High School I joined the alumni to give back to the school and current students. I feel that it is important for the school to have an active and vibrant alumni that contributes to the school and its community. My goal is to see the alumni become an active entity in the schools culture and student body.
